Chargers Trade Bendross to Tampa Bay
SAN DIEGO —
The Chargers traded Jesse Bendross, a reserve wide receiver, to Tampa Bay Tuesday for a conditional, late-round 1987 draft choice.
Bendross, a seventh-round draft selection from Alabama in 1984, caught 27 passes for 369 yards and 2 touchdowns in two seasons with the Chargers. He started two games last season.
The Chargers will receive a draft selection for Bendross only if he makes Tampa Bay’s roster this season.
