Kate Smith Released From Hospital After Surgery

RALEIGH, N.C. — Singer Kate Smith, 79, has been released from a hospital where she underwent surgery for breast cancer on May 9, officials said Saturday. She was released Friday afternoon from Raleigh Community Hospital.
