“The Patti Page Video Songbook.” Kartes. $19.95. This hourlong video takes you back to a more innocent pop age (the ‘50s) when a major singer of the day--Page--recorded sprightly novelties like “How Much Is That Doggie in the Window?” and “Mr. and Mississippi,” then acted them out on her own national TV show. Yes, she sang “Window” while actually cuddling a puppy. The sound and picture quality is very good on these 19 clips taken from the TV show, but there is no attempt to make the program of interest to anyone other than Page’s most devoted fans. 1/2
