Woman to Be Chancellor of New Hampshire System

DURHAM, N.H. —
Claire Van Ummersen was selected Monday to be chancellor of the University System of New Hampshire. Van Ummersen, 50, is a senior academic and administrative officer with the Massachusetts Board of Regents of Higher Education. She will be the system’s first woman chancellor.
