AND NOW HERE’S THE NEWS: Rest easy, Ramones fans, especially if you’ve grown attached to the riotous import version of the band’s “Bonzo Goes to Bitburg.” It’s on the group’s new album, but with a new title--”My Brain is Hanging Upside Down.” The new album, “Animal Farm,” also includes such great titles as “Eat That Rat,” “Mental Health” and “Somebody Put Something in My Drink.” . . . The Replacements aren’t the only big Alice Cooper fans around these days. Krokus’ current single is Cooper’s “School’s Out,” and the band has just finished a video version of it (Cooper was asked to appear, but was busy working on a new record). . . . J.J. Jackson isn’t the only veejay about to disappear from the MTV airwaves. The 24-hour video channel, which has been in a ratings slump lately (though MTV execs continue to dispute recent Nielsen findings) has confirmed rumors that Nina Blackwood will also leave MTV when her contract expires June 30. MTV has declined to renew her contract, though executives would not specify the reasons behind her departure. . . . Steve Miller has been working on a new album, tentatively titled “Dust My Blues.” And no wonder--the record, his first new release in several years, will offer a pair of Willie Dixon tunes, “My Babe” and “I Just Want to Be Loved,” as well as an old Jimmy Reed composition. . . . And former Mamas and the Papas leader John Phillips, who’s written a new autobiography, “Papa John,” will be on hand for a book-signing party Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. at Rhino Records, 1720 Westwood Blvd.
