The Nation : FBI Role in Leaks Urged

Share

But objections to the idea apparently were raised in the White House, where some senior officials considered a special FBI unit to be inappropriate. However, a recommendation that polygraph tests be used more widely was not opposed, one source said. According to the sources, the memo was prepared by a group of mid-level officials in advance of a meeting of a Cabinet-level group that has been focusing on the subject of leaks.
