Plans Announced for High School Building

The Los Angeles Unified School District has announced that it will build a $1.75-million, 23,000-square-foot multi-use structure at Roosevelt High School, 456 S. Mathews St.

The architecture firm of MA/EPA Inc., Los Angeles, has been seclected to design the structure, primarily a library and media center but with some classrooms. Working drawings are to be completed by July and construction is to start late this year.
