Two Prisoners Die in Van Crash After Inmate Game

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — A prison van returning from an inmates’ ball game collided with a car, killing two inmates and injuring 14 other people, authorities said Monday. Sixteen inmates and their driver, a guard, were in the van when the crash occurred Sunday night, a state Public Safety Department spokeswoman said.
