The El Rancho Unified School District board Tuesday accepted a $67,878 federal grant to provide 92 students with jobs for 11 weeks this summer.

The students, between 14 and 21, will work at district sites as office, custodial, or maintenance aides for the minimum wage of $3.35 an hour.

The funds are from the federal Youth Employment Program for economically disadvantaged youths. They are allocated to the County of Los Angeles and are administered by the Southeast Area Social Services Funding Authority.
