Slings and Arrows in the 40th Congressional District Race

I am offended by Robert E. Badham’s campaign strategy whereby he refuses to debate Nathan Rosenberg on the issues and attempts to discredit Nathan Rosenberg with irrelevant insinuations insulting our intelligence.

Badham suggested Rosenberg is supported by some shadowy organization which seeks to take over the government of the United States, and he cites a 1978 campaign contribution to a California judge as evidence of this absurd claim.

One would think that an organization dedicated to taking control of the government would make at least two such contributions in the last eight years and support at least two candidates for the 535 available seats in Congress. Who else are they supporting, Mr. Badham?

Badham repeatedly claims that he is the incumbent and Rosenberg has no experience as a congressman. Incumbents should be viewed very critically. If someone was elected and did not perform, that person should be removed from office and replaced with another. Let’s look for quality, not longevity.
