Disney Leases Burbank Space for Two Divisions

Walt Disney Productions has signed a five-year lease with a total consideration in excess of $4.5 million to become the first tenant in the new Burbank Centre office building, 3800 Alameda Ave., Burbank.
The firm’s Disney Channel and Disney Travel divisions will occupy 45,000 square feet of space beginning in August and will have outside sign rights to the 20-story, 420,000-square-foot building, a joint venture of Metropolitan Structures and Cushman Realty Corp., Los Angeles.
Gilbert Jordan of Jordan & Associates, Los Angeles, acted as real estate consultant and adviser to Disney Productions from site selection through lease negotiations.
