Soviets to Try Nazi Camp Guard

MOSCOW —
A former Nazi concentration camp guard who was deported from the United States two years ago will be tried for “crimes against humanity” in a Ukrainian court later this month, the Novosti press agency said today.
Ukrainian-born Feodor Fedorenko, 79, who lived in the United States for 35 years--20 years of it in Waterbury, Conn.--before he was deported in 1984 for violating immigration laws, faces criminal proceedings in a court near his birthplace.
