The sale of Coca-Cola’s video unit collapsed.
Four months ago, Coca-Cola said it planned to sell Embassy Home Entertainment to a group led by the subsidiary’s chairman and chief executive, Andre Blay. Neither Coca-Cola nor Los Angeles-based Embassy disclosed a reason for discontinued negotiations. Coca-Cola, which co-owns another home video company with RCA, said it might keep the unit or find a buyer. An Embassy spokeswoman said the now-scrapped deal had been valued at $85 million.
