Hollywood : Teen Center to Receive Funds
The Hollywood Teen Canteen, a drop-in center for homeless and runaway teen-agers, will receive $11,667 in state and county money, Los Angeles County Supervisor Edmund Edelman has announced.
The center has moved to a storefront location at 6278 Hollywood Blvd., in the area where runaways congregate.
State funding accounts for $10,500 of the money given to the center, and $1,167 comes from the county budget.
