Stanley P. Gold, president of Shamrock Holdings of Burbank, on Thursday was named chairman of Enterra Corp., a Radnor, Pa.-based oil and gas equipment firm whose stock Shamrock has been accumulating since late last year.
Gold, 43, replaces James M. Ballengee, 63, who resigned as chairman but will continue to serve as a director.
Shamrock, an investment company owned by the Roy E. Disney family, has a 23.5% stake in Enterra.
