MADRID —
Suspected Basque terrorists shot and killed two army officers and their chauffeur today as they drove along a Madrid street, police said.
The attack brought to 19 the number of victims of political violence in Spain this year. One of the men killed, Maj. Ricardo Saenz de Inestrillas, was convicted in a right-wing military plot against the government of Prime Minister Adolfo Suarez in 1978.
