Santa Monica : Trustees Approve Budget
The Santa Monica College Board of Trustees has adopted a $33.9-million “status quo” budget for 1986-87 that holds as many expenses as possible to 1985-86 levels, according to Assistant Supt. Tom Donner.
The budget represents a 4.86% increase over the last year’s, partly because of costs such as insurance that could not be kept at 1985-86 levels, he said.
The tentative budget, which will serve until the final budget is adopted in September, includes revenues of $33.4 million.
