A proposed Disney park encountered a delay.

Walt Disney Co., which has twice extended a letter of intent with French officials for the European Disneyland that it hopes to build near Paris, said a regional council has requested more information on the park before signing a final agreement. Jack Myers, director of marketing for Disneyland International, said data “will be re-presented” at a meeting scheduled for July 10. Regardless of the delays, Myers said, “we’re confident that we will reach a successful conclusion.”
