Commercial salmon fishermen from Morro Bay to Crescent City will stay tied up throughout the weekend in an attempt to receive their originally agreed upon price for king salmon, the Fishermen’s Assn. said. The tie-up began at Fort Bragg and Eureka and expanded down the coast to Moss Landing. North coast buyers in Eureka cut their price by 25 cents across the board last week, citing an oversupply of fish and an expected glut of lower-priced Canadian salmon soon to hit the market.
