Dieckmeyer Will Preside Over New Remodeling Unit

Jim Dieckmeyer of Dieckmeyer Enterprises, Upland, has been elected president of the newly formed Remodelor’s Council of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California.

Other officers of the council, with 30 founding members, are Phil Cohen, Hoffman/Atchley Cabinets, vice president, and Mike Eisner, Carpet Suppliers Inc., secretary-treasurer. Chairing committees are Todd Russell, T.A. Russell Construction, education; Mike Eisner, membership, and Don Earl, referral service committee.

The first priority of the new group is establishment of a referral service, operating a telephone hot line for the public to call for referral to skilled and reliable contractors, Dieckmeyer said.
