Record state tourism revenue was predicted.
Security Pacific National Bank estimated that California tourism revenue will rise to a record $33 billion this year, up 8.1% from 1985. The increase is slightly higher than the 7.9% rise projected nationwide. Meanwhile, the bank said that 1985 convention attendance rose in Anaheim, San Francisco and San Diego but declined in Los Angeles.
