Share

The California Arts Council will convene July 30 at Stanford University for its fifth public meeting of the year.

The council plans to announce recipients of its Artists in Social Institutions and Artists in Communities grant awards for fiscal 1985-86 at the Palo Alto session.

The former program places artists from various disciplines in senior centers, mental institutions, prisons and other public facilities. The latter supports artists’ work with neighborhood centers, such as the downtown Los Angeles Japanese American Cultural and Community Center.
