Local News in Brief : Judge Yegan Elevated to Superior Court Seat
A Thousand Oaks man has been appointed by Gov. George Deukmejian to fill a newly created position on the Ventura County Superior Court.
Kenneth R. Yegan, a Ventura County Municipal Court judge since 1983, began his duties on the Superior Court Tuesday.
Yegan, 38, is a former Ventura County deputy public defender. He will receive a salary of $77,129 a year.
