A second senior corporate officer has resigned from Clothestime, Inc., the fast-growing Anaheim-based apparel company, according to a company executive.

Roger C. Johnson, 45, vice president for loss prevention, left the company last week according to Norman Abramson, Clothestime’s executive vice president and chief operating officer. Also last week, the company announced the resignation of William W. Mowbray, 46, the company’s chief financial officer. Mowbray and Johnson both submitted their resignations on June 27, Abramson said. Both men joined the company in 1981.

Abramson, who joined the company in April, insisted that both men decided to leave on their own. “I tried to get them to stay,” he said.

Johnson, who was not available for comment Thursday, planned to take time off before searching for another job, Abramson said. “I know he has no job at this time,” he said.

Mowbray said last week that he had been planning to leave the company for months.
