$100 Million to Aid Nicaragua’s Contras: Pro and Con
- Share via
The core of your editorial opposing the House of Representatives vote on contra aid is that “Nicaragua is a poor, feeble nation led by an inept group of ideologues who . . . are no threat to the United States.”
How do you square this conclusion with the fact that Russia has supplied about $1 billion in military aid to Nicaragua? Do you also conclude that Russia poses no threat to the United States?
