Codercard Purchases Computer Security Firm

Codercard Inc., a Nevada computer security system manufacturer with headquarters in Irvine, has acquired PDC Corp., a privately held computer security consulting firm based in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The purchase involves the even exchange of all 20,000 shares of PDC’s capital stock for 7 million shares of Codercard’s voting common stock. The stocks each have a cash value of about $1.3 million.

Codercard also appointed William Abourezk, founder and president of PDC, to its board of directors.
