Simi Freeway
Joel Dinsfriend’s letter (June 25) “Shortsighted,” is just that. He claims that flatly denying Sylvester Stallone’s production company the use of the three-mile stretch of state-owned Simi Freeway “kept people from working.” He thinks Simi Valley citizens were “shortsighted” when asked to “give a little.”
I’m not only proud to tip my hat to Simi Valleyans, I’d be happy to lend Dinsfriend my binoculars. He could then see that they were asked for too much! They not only kept their freeway, they kept their dignity. They should never have been asked to prostitute themselves and their freeway to one whose apparent goal in life is to glorify rabid violence!
