Monrovia : Dial-a-Ride Contractor

Dootson Enterprises Inc. has taken over the dial-a-ride service for residents of Monrovia. The dial-a-ride service is in addition to wheelchair-equipped service the city already provides for the handicapped and elderly. The service area is limited to Monrovia except for stops at Santa Teresita Hospital in Duarte, Methodist Hospital in Arcadia and medical buildings in the 600 block of Duarte Road in Arcadia. The rides, which cost 50 cents one way, operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The telephone number is (818) 445-2562.
