A Freeway With a Double Deck
After reading “Saving the County’s ‘Main Street’ ” (July 6) the thought occurred to me--air space is free! Then why not double-deck the freeway?
The upper deck could be for people who are driving north and south and don’t want to stop off in the city. This would eliminate 50% of the congestion and clear up the Orange County bottleneck. If Seattle can do it, why can’t we?
