New Sheraton Hotel to Open

The new Sheraton Ventura Hotel will open officially Wednesday at 2055 S. Harbor Blvd., Ventura.
The Tiverton Properties project, designed and developed by McCune, Gerwin & Partners and operated by the Sheraton Hotels, is a 300-room, four-story convention facility and the largest private development in the city of Ventura.
The hotel is situated on 6.1 acres and cost $8.18 million to build. It features a one-acre landscaped pool court, two-story skylighted lobby, 6,000-square-foot ballroom, 1,500-square-foot junior ballroom, executive board and meeting rooms, health club, night club and two restaurants.
