C of C Analysis Pinpoints Major Building Activity

Share

The Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly analysis of major building activity by ZIP code reveals that the heaviest activity in the city for the first few months of this year was in Westwood and the Miracle Mile area in Los Angeles and in Colton in San Bernardino County.

“Clearly, there is a lot of redevelopment of older areas occurring, along with new building activity in emerging areas of Southern California,” Jack Kyser, the chamber’s chief economist, said.

The ZIP code analysis was designed to provide valuable information to subcontractors, building material suppliers, building service firms and others involved in business planning and new-site analysis or review of existing sites.
