Lincoln Project Is Under Way

Construction is under way on the $14-million, 215,000-square-foot mixed-use industrial and commercial Carmenita Commerce Center on Firestone Boulevard at Carmenita Avenue in Santa Fe Springs.
Resulting from the redevelopment of the former Marshburn Farms property, the center will contain seven buildings on 11.94 acres and will have 1,500 feet of frontage on the Santa Ana Freeway upon completion at the end of September.
Lincoln Property Co., the developer, is a major national diversified developer, having built about $10 billion of commercial and residential properties. Its Southern California operation, based in Irvine, has 3 million square feet of industrial, commercial and office properties.
