EECO’s Earnings Up 27% With Net of $514,000

EECO Inc., a Santa Ana manufacturer of specialized computer systems for the lodging industry, posted net income of $514,000 for the second quarter ended June 27, up 27% from $427,000 for the same period last year. Sales were $14 million for the quarter, up 3% from $13.6 million last year.

Net income for the first six months about tripled that of last year, with earnings of slightly more than $1 million, up from $286,000. Sales for the six months were $27.6 million, up from $26 million.
