A heavily armed man who was shot to death after he broke into a home in the community of Wilton near Sacramento and killed his former girlfriend as well as her fiance’s son, may have been involved in several other murders around the nation, sheriff’s officials said. Early Monday, 36-year-old Ronnie Solida allegedly killed Vikki Hahne and wounded her fiance, Ray Sterger. Officers said he also killed Sterger’s 19-year-old son, Scott. Solida then was fatally shot by Sterger’s other son, Jeremy, 14. Sacramento County Sheriff’s Lt. Jan Hoganson said Solida was a suspect in “several” murders in other states, but he would not give details.
