Adult Graduation

Patt Morrison’s story about Hollywood High’s Adult School graduation was terrific (June 22), “For These Few, Graduation Is Night of Glory.” It was the kind of inspirational story that belongs on Page 1, but usually is not found there.

At a time when many take their obligations of citizenship casually (witness the low turnout for our primary election in June), it is heartwarming to see that the American dream still lives for some. Their determination puts many to shame.
