Weyerhaeuser Co. workers, under a tentative contract agreement, would take a $4 cut in pay and benefits, with the losses to be made up for most workers under a profit-sharing plan, officials said. Local union officers in Portland, Ore., predicted that the offer will be rejected by the members. Union members have been on strike since June 16 and are expected to vote on the accord this week. The union represents about 6,500 Weyerhaeuser employees in Oregon and Washington.
