Printronix Posts Net of $1.8 Million for Quarter

Printronix Inc. of Irvine reported net income of $1.8 million for the first quarter of the fiscal year, contrasted with a net loss of $1.4 million posted for the same quarter a year ago.

The gain for the quarter ended June 27 includes a pretax gain of $4.2 million from the sale of an option to purchase a building.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 27 was $30 million, compared to $33 million in the year-ago period.
