Lasorda Isn’t Having Such a Good Year, Either

I made two major purchases last fall--Dodger season tickets and a 1969 Firebird convertible. Unocal, the Dodgers’ longtime sponsor and the only company that still sells the leaded premium gasoline that my car thrives on, recently announced plans to stop selling leaded premium.

As a result, my car and the Dodgers soon will have something else in common. They’ll both be classics powered by cheap imitations.
