Six-ounce bottles of menthol green Chloraseptic throat spray were pulled off store shelves in California and other states when an anonymous caller claimed that 120,000 of the containers had been poisoned with potassium cyanide. The bottles bear the lot number 136966. Although no contamination has been confirmed, consumers who have already made purchases can obtain a refund or replacement by calling Procter & Gamble through an 800 number listed on the package, a spokesman said.
