Don J. Nicholson was named president and chief executive of Aquality, a Chatsworth maker of maintenance accessories for swimming pools and spas. Nicholson, 39, succeeds Ted Harbaugh, who died in October.

Before joining Aquality, Nicholson was vice president for sales and marketing at NRM Corp., a Columbiana, Ohio, manufacturer of machinery for the rubber and plastics industry. Aquality is a unit of Overmyer Corp. of Winchester, Ind.
