Foley, 57, was named national administrator of the SBA in August, 1963, by President John F. Kennedy and continued to serve in that capacity in the Lyndon B. Johnson Administration until August, 1965, when he was named assistant secretary of commerce for economic development. Besides being a senior vice president, Foley will serve as special assistant to Daniel D. Weston, Corporate Capital’s chairman and president.
