Santa Monica : Marathon, 10-K Races Slated
The Recreation and Parks Department will sponsor its 14th marathon, half-marathon and 5-K races on Aug. 24. The races will begin at 7 a.m. at Santa Monica City College and wind through city streets. There will be awards, door prizes and a free swim in the Municipal Pool. For an entry blank, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Santa Monica Marathon, Recreation and Parks Department, 1685 Main St., Room 210, Santa Monica 90401.
