Share

Poet, translator and author Clayton Eshleman will give a poetry reading titled “Recent Poems and Some Translations of Antonin Artaud and Aime Cesaire” at 8 tonight at the Newport Harbor Art Museum.

Eshleman’s reading is part of a series held in conjunction with an exhibition, “The Interpretive Link: Abstract Surrealism Into Abstract Expressionism,” at the museum through Sept. 14.

In addition to reading poems and translations, Eshleman will draw connections from the ways several poets have used surrealist techniques.
