‘Night Stalker’ Case Delayed
From Associated Press
Criminal proceedings against “Night Stalker” defendant Richard Ramirez will be delayed so his attorneys can have more time to prepare their case, a judge ruled today.
Superior Court Judge Dion G. Morrow continued a hearing on a motion to dismiss the charges until Sept. 2, the day the trial had been scheduled to begin. He also delayed until Nov. 3 a hearing on a defense request to move the trial outside of Los Angeles County.
