Air Force Jet Crash Kills 1

ANGELES, Philippines —
A U.S. Air Force Phantom jet on a combat training mission crashed into a runway seconds after takeoff Friday at Clark Air Base, killing the pilot and injuring the other crewman, an Air Force spokesman said. The pilot was identified as Capt. Bobby D. Henry, 28, of Muleshoe, Texas, and the weapons systems officer as Maj. Henry A. Daniels, 39, of the Bronx, N.Y.
