Reagan to Hold News Conference in Chicago

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan will hold a nationally televised news conference in Chicago next Tuesday during a one-day visit to Illinois that will include stops at the state fair in Springfield and a fund-raiser for GOP candidates, his spokesman said today.
Deputy Press Secretary Larry Speakes told reporters that questions during the 30-minute news conference, to be held at 5 p.m. PDT at the O’Hare Hyatt Regency Hotel, will be divided among the White House and Chicago-based reporters.
