Rams Sign Doug Reed to a Two-Year Contract

The Rams signed defensive end Doug Reed to a two-year contract Wednesday, leaving wide receiver Henry Ellard and outside linebacker Mel Owens the only unsigned free agents.

Reed replaced Jack Youngblood as the defensive left end last season and finished fourth on the team with 7 1/2 sacks.
