NEW YORK — A student-employee of a Brooklyn technical college opened fire with two pistols at the school Tuesday, killing one person and wounding four in an apparent dispute over school aid, police said. Two other people were injured trying to escape the gunman.
The suspect, identified as Van Hull, 29, surrendered uninjured after emptying a .38-caliber pistol in a gun battle with police at the New York Technical School in downtown Brooklyn, whose entrance was left spattered with blood, its glass door shattered by bullets.
