Reagan Picks Coloradan as Ambassador to Bahrain

WASHINGTON —
President Reagan plans to nominate Colorado businessman Sam Zakhem to be the new U.S. ambassador to Bahrain, the White House announced Wednesday. Zakhem, 50, would succeed Donald Leidel.
