Courthouse Metal Detector Incriminates Drug Suspect

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. —
An 18-year-old man headed for court to answer charges of possessing drugs should have emptied his pockets before he reached the courthouse.
William Wilson was walking through a metal detector at the entrance to the Prince George’s County courthouse when the beeper went off. He was arrested when a sheriff’s deputy discovered he was carrying two small manila envelopes of marijuana, a sheriff’s spokesman said Wednesday.
